Discovery of 10.10.42.3 failed -- Controller UUID: 7d49257a3d9b11e2bc46005056993ccf \ the IP address belongs to vcenter server ( an appliance version). Does not happen all the time, but does happen even when I can and even when I am connected to vcenter with the vshpere gui client.
Any thoughts. I do not have enough hair to be continually pulling it out.
The original system I used was an IBM 7090 with punch card input, and a programming language called "MAD" - Michigan Algorithm Decoder.
All equipment here uses static assigned IPs. We use DHCP only for laptops, tabletts or smartphones. I absolutely CAN log into any server ad into Vcenter using vsphere client. I CAN login to Vcenter from vmPRO after I power it off and restart it, but that oly lasts a day or so and this problem reappears. I did get vmPRO to log in to both of the ESX servers and did discover all 11 VMs But I have no comfort level that this will continue to work.
