Getting netapp ontap 9.1 cdot to recognise scalar i3
Hi anyone had issues trying to get a Netapp filer to recognize a Quantum Scalar i3.
We have a FAS8200 in cluster mode (ontap 9.1) and a Quantum Scalar i3 with 2 fibre attached IBM lT07 tape drives.
The tape drives are connected to a fibre switch and it has been configured for zoning. The netapp recognizes the tape drives after we updated the tape config files but it doesn't recognize the tape library.
We have checked the support matrix for the tape library and it onlye goes upto ontab 8.2 and hence I am trying to raise a support call with Quantum. I have raised a support case with netapp and currently awaiting contact.
Anyway else had the same or similar issues and that can help?

Hello, I am not sure if you are still having the issue but you can call 1-800-284-5101 and use the SN# of your i3 to open a support case. A technician would then be able to give you a hand.
