Finally I downloaded the roli hardware driver and copied it into the Roli Program Files folder, and if I manually start it before connecting the Seaboard, it'll work. It's annoying, but it works. At least the Seaboard turns on. This unique and beautifully designed keyboard features 25 notes (two octaves) and it's made of the same non-toxic, high-quality silicone rubber as the buttons and as found on the Seaboard Grand. You're probably wondering how it feels and the best way we can describe it is it feels like playing a keyboard made of Haribo jelly sweets! This is one of the very first models of the Roli Seaboard GRAND (I know because I had to get in contact with Roli Support to understand how to work it). It DOES NOT COME with a Serial Number, it doesn't have one, even where the Roli website says to look. Because it doesn't have a serial number, it also does not work with Roli Connect and Dashboard. The RISE uses MIDI over USB, and has one pedal input, which can be set to behave as a sustain or expression pedal using the ROLI Dashboard software. I'm looking into getting a Seaboard, just not sure which of them. I initially thought the Grand was the flagship model, but with a little more research I got the impression that the Rise has some features the Grand don't. Does the Rise has some new features and better technology as it is newer than the Grand?
