Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) is dedicated to preventing infections acquired within healthcare facilities. The National Infection Prevention and Control Manuals (IPC) was launched as part of a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Health, National Coordinating Committee to Combat Antimicrobial Resistance, the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization and local stakeholders. There are 3 different manuals, each specific to the setting in which they are used; Acute Care, Long Term Care and Community Health Services. Acute Care Manual.
