Quantum Forum for DXi V5000
veeam "file copy job"
hi i've read we must not put data to dxi v1000 through MS file explorer. can i push data to dxi by starting a "vm copy job" in veeam B+R 8 or does this not work?
does use veeam a special technique to store data on dxi, or in other words, why can't we use file browser to store data on dxi?
i'm thinking about archiving some backup-files...

This should work fine, although I have not yet done it myself. You will find that you can browse the shares on DXi like a normal NAS, it is just that not all general purpose NAS use cases are certified by Quantum for use with DXi.
The Veeam copy job is still basically a backup job, so I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
