The vmPRO virtual machine has been powered off for some time while performance issues in the Vcenter cluster were being dealt with. A short time ago I attempted to power on the VM so we could run backups over the weekend. Power on fails with the following message:
I am also seeing in the resources tab in vSphere that vmPRO has storage allocated on all of the datastores in the cluster. vmPRO itself lives on one datastore called LUN06, which is the 12GB that was allocated during the installation, but it shows storage mounted from LUN01 - LUN07, which represents all of the datastores in the vSphere environment. It is showing an additional 525GB of storage in total.
I suppose the first question is can I safely unmount that additional storage from vmPRO?
Second question is how to get around the error messages above so I can get vmPRO powered up and backups running again.
thanks!!
