NFS exports with param no_root_squash

Hi,

for using DXi V1000 with EMC Networker i need NFS exports with param no_root_squash, so the Networker can write as root on the NFS share and not with UID like anonymous.

How can i change the nfs exports params on the dxi side?

Hi Peter,

At the moment there is no possibility to change this via the DXi's webgui. In general this can be changed via ssh but this must be done by a Quantum Support Engineer.

Ok. But how can be done this from the support engineer?
Is there a root aquivalent user login available for ssh without restrictions?

Yes, the quantum support will be able to access the unit with elevated user rights.

Peter,

There is no syscli (command set used by the customer facing login, cliadmin) command to modify this. Support would need to change this.

With version 2.3 code this is available from the cliadmin access.

syscli --edit share --name <sharename> [--squash root|none]
