Hello Vipulvajpayee,

The answer to the above questions, greatly rely on the environment. Which DXi model, which physical library model, and which backup software type questions would all need to be addressed.

The DXi model user guide does a very good job at explaining how to detect a physical library and detected the components. In addition Quantum also provides an applicantion specific guide which details the needed steps to take to configure a PTT for a given backup software application.

Using a DXi6700 as an example, I have included a link to the DXi67XX manual, page 298 covers PTT.

The Backup Application Specific PTT Guide which covers how to configure PTT on various backup software applications can also be downloaded using he same link.

If you require a more detailed overview of PTT other than the information found in the guides, it would be necessary to open a service request against your physical DXi. This would allow for a better analysis of your environment and allow for specifics on your overall goals for PTT implementation.

Thank you Jerry for your information, but these documents can be only downloaded when you provide the serial number of dxi box.

I don't have dxi appliance serial number, so I want to know can I download some document from partner portal which can  give me better understanding of PTT features of quantum..,
