Quantum Forum for DXi V5000

Hi

I just installed vmPRO 3.1 in a offline site, when i start up backup 1 VM i got this error.

Failed to Retrieve information for VM "name" from "Server" (/var/pancetera/vm_proxy_cache/*****.cfg: no such file or directory.

vmPro does not make a vmsnapshot or seem to get contact with the selected vm. Any1 with a hint to fix this?

Hi Thomas,

There should be another upgrade to 3.1.1 available. I believe this was an issue seen in 3.1 and upgrading to 3.1.1 should reslove the issue.

where can i download the update? This vmpro server can not connect to internet due security reasons so i need to download and update manually but i can find anywhere to download.

Here is a link to the vmPro upgraded guide https://mosaic.quantum.com/docs/sites/default/files/vmPRO_docs/upgr...

Follow the instructions on page 5 for the offline upgrade.

Note-seeing you are all ready at 3.1 you do not need to apply any of the RPMs in the 1of 2.zip link so simply bypass that one and download the 2 of 2.zip, extract the file, move the RPMs to the upgrade folder and then run the system upgrade local command from the cli.
