exclude stopped VM from backup

Hello,

today i deployed Quantum vmPro Free Standard Edition on vSphere ESXi (free edition),

I would like to exclude VM's not running from scheduled backup.

kindly guide.

You can turn off the VMs you don't want included in a backup policy by unchecking the box labeled 'Exported' in the VM settings -- this will disable backup for the VM:
