Quantum Forum for DXi V5000

After setting time with an NTP server and restart, I can't login any more.

When I look at the console I see "System status: Diagnostic" where it should say "System status: Normal".

I have deleted the virtual machine and installed a new one, and have tha same problem.

Is there any way to exit diagnostic mode with out reinstalling the virtual machine?

Thanks,

Matías

Hello Matias,

If you click on the Ticket link in the upper right of the web interface does it give you any RAS alerts. There would probably be a RAS ticket in there that will tell us why it is in Diagnostic mode.

In the web interface you can go to Utilities > Reboot & Shutdown then click on the Reset from diagnotic state to see if this error will clear.  This will force a reboot of the system.

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

The fact is that web interface is not working.

I have tried with the following CLI command:

syscli --nodemanage --resetdiag

But after restarting services it enters in diagnostic mode again.

I have reinstalled the virtual machine again because it was not in production, but what happens if I have data inside?

Thanks,

Matías

Hello Matias,

We would have needed to get more information from the system in order to figure out what was keeping the system in Diagnostic mode.  Opening a Service Request would possibly have been needed.

Thanks,

Jeff
