i'm trying to monitor vmPRO via the nagios plugin. I have nagios enabled on the vmPRO box. The error I'm seeing on my nagios server is: "CHECK_NRPE: Error receiving data from daemon".

Is there a way I can run the check_nrpe command directly on the vmPRO box? anything else to try troubleshooting?

Here's an example command I'm trying to run:
check_nrpe -H vmPRO -c check_disk
