The username for the GUI is indeed administrator and password.  For the console (command line) you can use 'cliadmin' for both user and password.

Brian,

Are you saying that both the web gui and the ssh credentials fail for you as explained above?  Does the v1000 reach the point of the webserver becoming availible and you choose the 'administrator' radio button and type in the 'password' credential to no avail?

Yes I see login screen and typed "password" but does not work.

Brand new install?  Defaul credentials have not varied since the first release....

It's new install and I have imported OVF using VMware workstation.

Hi,

I have the same problem. I can logon to cli: cliadmin/cliadmin but I can't logon to webui via administrator/password.

Do You have any idea what's wrong?

Resolved this problem:

When You use IE please try to change compatibility mode for older website. For me working fine, earlier I have the same problem.

Please confirm version of IE if problem is resolved by changing compatiblity mode.
