Does anyone know if it's possible to rate limit access to a NAS share?  My use case is that I'd like to rate limit backup and restore operations during business hours and open up the tap after hours.  Currently I'm using CIFS, but could switch to NFS if that works.

I can't do rate limiting on the backup software or network because I don't always control that end of it, so preference is to do rate limiting on the backup repository.
