I need to know some hints about the network traffic between ESXi-Host, CIFS-Share and vmPRO-Appliance.

We want to install only one central vmPRO-Applicance (HHA) in our Head Office (HH). In our Branch Office (BB) we have one physical ESXi-Host (BBE) and one physical Windows-Host (BBW) with a CIFS-Share only for the vmPRO-Backup of this Branch Office (BB).

My question is: Where is the backup network traffic:

- directly from the Branch ESXi (BBE) to the Branch CIFS-Share on the Branch Windows-Host (BBW)

- or from the Branch ESXi (BBE) to the vmPRO-Applicance (HHA) and back to the Branch Windows-Host (BBW).
