I am testing vmPRO 3.1.1 and received the following error on 2 VMs during a 19 VM SmartMotion backup.

013-06-07 10:17:32,830 smartmotion/ERROR:: Tomato.py:345 Error in copying file '/export/thesvm2/gold/gold-flat.vmdk': Cannot open /vmfs/volumes/51112909-7c1c3ba0-1f56-a0369f00670c/gold/gold.vmdk: vm_proxy_open_vmdk_flat has reached the retry limit (3).  Return code: 24

Both VMs were powered off and have SCO OpenServer installed but another VM with the same O/S and power state backed up fine.

The host is running ESXi 5.1.0 Update 1 1065491 using iSCSI datastores on a ReadyNAS.  The backup storage is on a different ReadyNAS using NFS.

Is this some sort of a timeout relating to the datastores?
