Amazon S3 Cloud with VMPro

How can I configure VMPro to connect and backup to the Amazon S3 cloud?

The DXi V-Series quick start guide can be download here Quick Start Guide. Page 4 list the system requirements for the DXi V-Series.

The DXi utilizes storage provide by the ESX or ESXi server in the form of a data store. There is no stated support for Amazon S3 cloud storage.

Hi Jason,

VmPro utilizes network storage using the CIFS or NFS Protocol.

I checked Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_S3) and (https://aws.amazon.com/s3/details/), Amazon S3 provides storage through web service interfaces (REST, SOAP, and BitTorrent). If Amazon S3 does not allow you to mount to a CIFS or NFS share then vmPro will not be able to utilize it for storage as it will not be able to see the storage.
