To Detune the Detector over the Coin, till I had it Narrowed down. After, I'd switch back to GEB MAX Lift the Coil, Push the Button on the Handle Twice, Lower the Coil & start searching again. This is in line with many other detectors under $200 that provide around the same level of performance with the 6-8 kHz frequency. As such, it performs better for large, highly conductive metals with some good ground penetration. I am very new to this hobby and inherited my grampas old coinmaster 6000/di pro.
