Listening to the experiences of people who use adult mental health services is vital to our work to improve the quality and safety of these services. Last year, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) published feedback from a survey of 12,796 people who were treated by NHS community mental health services for a mental health condition. A Service User Guide template is provided in this policy to support Service Users to become familiar with the service. Please ensure that you refer to the system details questionnaire and update the information making it relevant to your service. The policy has been reviewed with minimal change. This Service User Guide will hopefully also answer some of the general questions you might have.
