Exclude a disk from backup

Hi,

One of my VMs has 3 disks and one of them is 100Go thick; i don't need to backup it with vmPRO (contains data and has it's own application save mechanism). How can i exclude only this disk from my backups ?

I red in the forum that i could mark this disk as "independent" in the VM configuration, but would it change anything as i d'ont use the CBT (ie full backup each night) ?

Hello Yan,

This feature is currently not available with vmPRO but is on the road map for implementation.

You can mark the 100GB disk as a independent disk and this will prevent vmPRO from backing it up. vmPRO will give a warning on the VM once you do this that will advise not all disk on the VM are supported for backup, this is normal.
