Quantum Forum for DXi V5000

I am backing up 16 VMs using vmPRO v3.2.1. Each day a different number (1-15) of VMs fail citing an error simliar to this:

smartcp: Error writing file. (buffer 0x7f3ca82609f0, count 131072, offset 5992648192) : Bad file descriptor

This system worked well for months, but only recently has become a problem. The VMs are on different hosts and different datastores in vCenter. I have reviewed countless logs on the VMs, and their hosts trying to identify a problem with no success. I was using CBT when the problem originally occurred. I have since moved away from it to rule it out as a problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Brian! What are you backing up to here as the storage target?

It's a CIFS network share. The spindles them selves are part of a direct attached storage array dedicated to this process.
